Universität Basel: Research Support & Communication 50-60% Research Support & Communication 50-60% The Department of Biomedical Engineering (DBE) at the University of Basel is a joint venture between the University of Basel, the University Hospital Basel, and the University Children's Hospital Basel. The DBE currently employs approximately 130 researchers who conduct cutting-edge research in the field of biomedical engineering in collaboration with the hospitals. Robotics & lasers, imaging and analysis, the development of analytical and forensic methods, medical 3D printing, and biomaterials are among the areas in which we conduct research. The DBE offers a PhD program and together with the FHNW a Master of Science.
